Hi there! I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. Here, the sun is shining today for the first time in ages (or so it feels). I thought I’d let you know a little bit more about me today – so if you’re curious, just keep reading.  

Where do you live?

I live in a small town in Sweden.

What do you do for a living?

I’m a librarian. I’d love to be a full-time writer, but being around books all day is pretty great, too.

Do you have any pets?

Not at the moment. But I am a crazy cat lady, and if it weren’t for my tiny apartment I’d definitely have a cat or two.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I’m very much an introvert.

What is your favorite color?

Black or pink, depending on my mood.

What is your favorite season?

Fall, but I’m also a big fan of winter.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

I’d love to see Pompeii one day.

Do you have a favorite author?

Yes, lots of them! I love the Brontë sisters, for example, and Jane Eyre is probably the most romantic book I’ve ever read.

When did you start writing?

I can’t remember exactly, but I was probably around six years old. Of course, back then my stories were quite short.  

Where do you get your inspiration?

Here and there, really. Ancient myths, beautiful paintings, or just a handsome actor on TV… Since I prefer historical settings, I get a lot of inspiration from non-fiction history books and documentaries.
